How we can help you and your patients

Our helpline team is made up of respiratory specialist nurses, respiratory physiotherapists and healthcare advisors, all of whom are trained to give you and your patients expert information on many aspects of living with a lung condition.

Sending your patient our way means that we can spend time talking them through any fears, concerns, or difficulties they are experiencing. We can explore any social and practical difficulties that might be going on for your patient and help them get the support they need.  Calls from families, friends and carers of people with a lung condition are very welcome too.

The helpline can advise on treatments, benefits, housing, clean air concerns, support groups and so much more.

But it’s a service for healthcare professionals, too. We can help you with advice about managing  your patients’ care – but we’re also here to lend you a caring ear when you need it.

Calling us is always completely confidential. We're here for you whether you are a  healthcare professional, a person affected by a lung condition, or a person who cares for them.
